Production for the second season of Gen V has been officially delayed following the tragic death of star Chance Perdomo. The cast and producers were scheduled for a table read the day after his death.

The cast and producers of Prime Video's Gen V were scheduled to gather on Saturday afternoon for the shows' first Season 2 table read, in preparation for filming commencing on April 8 in Toronto, according to Deadline. In the spin-off to The Boys, Perdomo played super-powered Andre Anderson, and starred alongside actors Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn.
