Gemma Atkinson breaks silence amid claims of 'rough patch' with Gorka

Gemma Atkinson has issued a public message of support to her Strictly Come Dancing other half Gorka Marquez amid reports they are going through a 'rough patch' due to his job

The busy Spanish-born dance pro has now also signed up to be a judge on Spain’s version of the show, Bailando con las Estrellas – which will see him spending most of his time in the European country. The Mirror also reported that Gorka’s busy work schedule means the couple have been unable to find the time to visit his parents in Bilbao with their son Thiago, who was born in July 2023. After being asked on Steph's Packed Lunch if he'd only seen Thiago 'a few times,' Gemma replied: "Yeah, when he was born, Gorka had a week at home with him, and since then he's had three weekends with him, and that's it."
