GBs final medal count as Olympics draw to a close


The Paris 2024 Olympics draws to a close and the medal count is in with the USA topping the table, Team GB wasn't far behind despite it being one of their lowest position in years

They struck gold in rowing, cycling, equestrian, athletics, swimming, shooting, gymnastics, sailing and climbing, and also won medals in an additional eight disciplines. Cole Hocker smashed the Olympic record in the men's 1500m, narrowly beating British favourite Josh Kerr and his main competitor Jakob Ingebrigtsen.
