A lot has changed since that first episode back in the summer of 2007, but the entire cast were reunited for the finale of James Corden and Ruth Jones' show, which proved the biggest hit of Christmas Day this year. With his beige cardigans and love of a brown tie at all times, Rob Brydon was playing a much older man than himself when he started as Uncle Bryn aged 42. Larry Lamb was beloved as Gavin and Stacey's Mick but loathed as EastEnders' vile Archie, who he played inbetween, which speaks to his versatility as an actor.
