Gavin and Stacey star debuts dramatic transformation for new romance role
Gavin and Stacey favourite Rob Brydon looks unrecognisable in his latest TV role, with the actor to star in upcoming romantic period drama My Lady Jane as Lord Dudley
History has almost been rewritten in the series, as King Henry VIII's son Edward does not die of tuberculosis, and Lady Jane Grey and her husband Guildford are not beheaded in a twist of events. A synopsis for the show reads: "Gird your loins for the tragic tale of Lady Jane Grey, the young Tudor noblewoman who was Queen of England for nine days and then beheaded in 1553... F*ck that. Rob's new role comes after rumours of a Gavin and Stacey reunion kickstarted again, following reports suggesting James and Ruth had been working on another Christmas special.
