Gavin and Stacey star Alison Steadman was seen for the first time in a wheelchair after suffering a 'terrible accident' while on holiday in Dubai as she admits 'the pain has been terrible'

Currently in the UAE to partake in the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature and publicise her autobiography, 'Out of Character,' recent snaps showed an enervated Alison as she manoeuvred in a wheelchair clad in bandages over her wrists and her foot encased in plaster. Donning a pair of crisp white trousers, matching trainers, a sleek black cardigan topped off by a snug, patterned scarf, she rested a backpack on her injured leg and a bumbag across her knees.
