Gavin and Stacey 'returning with 2024 Christmas special'
Popular sitcom Gavin and Stacey is reportedly set to return to TV screens later this year with a Christmas special – five years after the show finished on a huge cliffhanger
The popular sitcom last aired on Christmas Day 2019, ending with a huge cliffhanger as fan-favourite character Nessa (Ruth Jones) proposed to Smithy (James Corden). It's thought that the majority of the show's cast will make a return to their roles, including the titular Gavin and Stacey, played by Matthew Horne and Joanna Page respectively. The outlet reports that the episode will be produced by Steve Coogan’s Baby Cow, Jones’ Tidy Productions and Fulwell 73, which is co-owned by Corden.
