Alison Steadman, who plays the beloved role of Pam Shipman on Gavin and Stacey, has revealed who will be returning for the highly anticipated Christmas special later this year
James Corden, who stars in the show and co-writes it alongside Ruth Jones, took to social media to share the exciting yet slightly sad news that this special will be the beloved comedy's final curtain call. It's been a whole five years since we saw our favourite characters, and the last time they were on our screens, Nessa (Ruth Jones) left us all gasping as she got down on one knee for Smithy (James Corden) only for the scene to cut before we got his answer. Reflecting on her career highlights, Alison cited her role in the comedy Abigail's Party as a pivotal moment as she said it put her "on the map" and her time on the series "meant a lot".
