Gato Grande has launched an English production wing that looks to source from Latin American IP starting with new series "Clipperton."
Amazon MGM Studios’ Gato Grande label will launch a new division focused on producing English language series and films sourced from Latin American intellectual properties. In television, Gato Grande plans to develop a wide range of content to be distributed across both linear networks and streaming platforms. “Our expansion into English language film and television is a natural progression for our business,” said Gato Grande CEO Carla Gonzalez Vargas in a statement.
