Garth Brooks' Sexual Assault Lawsuit 'Didn't Affect' His Marriage to Trisha Yearwood 'at All': Source (Exclusive)

Garth Brooks and wife Trisha Yearwood are "doing absolutely fine" as a couple in spite of the country star's ongoing lawsuit, a source tells PEOPLE.

The “Friends in Low Places” singer and Yearwood also appeared in a June 19 Instagram video together that touted a July 4 event hosted by Brooks’ Nashville bar, Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky-Tonk (The restaurant is giving out free hot dogs to customers starting at 2 p.m. on Independence Day). The holiday event comes eight months after Brooks’ former employee accused him of sexual assault, rape and battery in the anonymous lawsuit; at the time, he said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, “I trust the system, I do not fear the truth, and I am not the man they have painted me to be.” In September, he filed a complaint anonymously as “John Doe” and denied the woman’s claims in an attempt to block the allegations from going public.
