Garden Rescue star Charlie Dimmock's dramatic transformation over the years as unearthed photos show her nineties TV debut alongside Alan Titchmarsh

She has been transforming neglected gardens into dream outdoor spaces for years, from BBC's Ground Force to Garden Rescue, Charlie Dimmock became a household name.

Following her crucial role on Ground Force alongside Tommy Walsh and Alan Titchmarsh from 1997 to 2005, she had her own series Charlie's Gardening Neighbours in 2001, which lasted one season. Tragically, the gardener's life went through further upheaval during the final years of the hit outdoor show, when her mother and stepfather died in Thailand's Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004 while they were on holiday in Phuket. The TV favourite is rumoured to be single at the moment, but previously enjoyed a romance with viticulturist John Mushet; the pair met in the early 1990s during a trip Charlie took to New Zealand, and they settled down once returned home (pictured in 2000)
