Gal Gadot diagnosed with ‘massive blood clot’ in her brain during fourth pregnancy: A ‘moment of uncertainty and fear’
The “Wonder Woman” star announced her daughter Ori’s birth in March after undergoing emergency surgery at eight months pregnant.
“In February, during my eighth month of pregnancy, I was diagnosed with a massive blood clot in my brain,” the mother of four wrote in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday. “For weeks, I had endured excruciating headaches that confined me to bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed the terrifying truth,” she explained to her followers. Gadot, pictured here on Dec. 10, said that the health scare was a “stark reminder of how quickly everything can change” and how “fragile life can be.” John Salangsang/ShutterstockGadot — who announced her daughter’s birth in early March — explained that Ori’s name “wasn’t chosen by chance,” as her name means “my light” in Hebrew.
