Gabrielle Union shares how her daughter Kaavia, 6, is bonding with her sister Zaya before she leaves for college in the fall in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the 2025 Met Gala.
The actress, 52, spoke with PEOPLE on the blue carpet at the 2025 Met Gala and shared that while she and husband Dwyane Wade are feeling "scared" about Zaya, 17, leaving for college in the fall, her family is trying to make the most of the time they have together at home. She is stepmom to the NBA star's two children, Zaire, 22, and Zaya with his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, and a son Xavier, 11, with Aja Metoyer. Although her parents are okay with her dating and even want to meet the people she's into, Zaya shared that her dad does try to scare away any potential suitors.
