But their fling spiralled out of control when John's mother mistakenly thought Susan Meyer was the housewife her son was sleeping with and attacked her backstage at a charity fashion show. Gabby and Edie take refuse in the basement of her house, Bree and her family hide in the Hodges home and Lynette gets trapped in Karen McCluskey's bathroom.
