EXCLUSIVE: Gary Lineker quit his role as the presenter of BBC Sports Personality of the Year in November - and Gabby Logan has now opened up about hosting the show without him
Gabby Logan has candidly shared her thoughts on hosting Sports Personality of the Year 2024 without Gary Lineker, who stepped back from the role last November. "It doesn’t feel like such a huge thing for me because I’m regularly in a studio presenting athletics with Denise Lewis, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Paula Radcliffe, so I’m often in situations where there isn’t a man around," she explained in a chat with The Mirror. Gabby, an avid sportsperson herself, shared her frustration about not being able to engage in her favourite activities due to a persistent elbow injury, which has even affected her while working: "When I was at the Women’s Euros, I was having a flare up while I was holding the microphone, which was annoying," she revealed.
