Full list of the UK's Eurovision entries ranked from best to worst revealed as Olly Alexander bids to break the Song Contest curse with new single Dizzy

Following the release of the music video for Dizzy by Olly Alexander, MailOnline takes a look at the last ten UK Eurovision entries and how they fared in the competition.

Sam Ryder's 2022 performance of Space Man gave the United Kingdom its best result at the Eurovision Song Contest for 24 years, with the singer finishing in second place and agonisingly missing out on top spot to Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra. Arguably the most famous name to have ever represented the UK at Eurovision, legendary Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler was hugely successful with power ballads Total Eclipse Of The Heart and Holding Out For A Hero. James had tasted success on the big stage before, winning a BRIT Award for British Single of The Year after co-writing Rudimental's hit Waiting All Night, which featured vocals from Ella Eyre.
