Full list of areas as Met Office releases fresh 12-hour snow and ice warning
The Met Office has issued a new 12-hour warning for snow and ice after parts of England woke up to a blanket of the white stuff this morning after snowfall overnight
They have advised those in affected areas to anticipate longer journey times and to be wary of untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. Large parts of the UK experienced snowfall overnight (Image: PA)"Ice will readily form on untreated surfaces. “If driving, make sure you have some essentials in your car in the event of any delays (e.g., warm clothing, food, water, a blanket, a torch, ice scraper/de-icer, a warning triangle, high visibility vest and an in-car phone charger).” The warning is deemed as a “medium likelihood, low impact” with orange and red warnings the potential next levels that it could rise to.
