Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins was recently embroiled in a diet pill scam on Facebook but she's not the only reality TV personality that's fallen victim to a hoax
In what could be dubbed as a 'curse', personalities such as Gemma Collins, Olivia Attwood and Georgia Steel have all fallen victim to various things over the years, including being used in fake advertisements, new flames swindling money, or businesses failing to get off the ground. As she posted two glam snaps of herself posing away in swimwear, Gemma wrote: "Hey everyone just checking in as it’s been brought to my attention and I am getting so many messages regarding someone on Facebook is advertising slimming pills with my pictures attached !" Previously recounting the cautionary tale to Lorraine stand-in presenter Christine Lampard, Georgia said: "He had no social media platforms and I'd just come off one of the biggest reality TV shows in Europe.
