Katz enjoys seeing the linear shows they’ve worked on “be discovered and embraced by a new generation of audiences.” Campbell added that, other than original content, live sports have played a huge role in NBCUniversal’s recent success. “Over the last year, networks are prioritizing flexibility, building provisions into their agreements to account for a variety of distribution channels, such as streaming and theatrical releases,” says Ohanian, hastening to point out there’s a heightened focus on the global market.
