Friends star Matthew Perry's doctor pleads guilty in connection with his death


Doctor Mark Chavez has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute the surgical anaesthetic ketamine in connection with the death of Friends star Matthew Perry

One of the two doctors implicated in the tragic death of actor Matthew Perry has pleaded guilty in a Los Angeles federal court, following a deal with prosecutors. He said: "(He has) accepted responsibility, plead guilty, admitted a lot of facts on record, he's cooperating with the government, he has already started the process of surrendering his medical licence. Matthew, best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the popular US sitcom Friends, tragically passed away after receiving several injections of ketamine from his live-in assistant, Kenneth.
