Matthew Perry's stepfather Keith Morrison has spoken out after five people were charged in connection with the Friends star's death, saying the family are 'heartbroken'

On Thursday 15 August, news broke that five people are now facing charges over his death, as revealed by United States Attorney Martin Estrada during a press briefing. An indictment filed in federal court on Wednesday, 15 August, but revealed on Thursday, outlined grand jury charges against Jasveen Sangha, who prosecutors claim was known as "the Ketamine Queen," and Salvador Plasencia, referred to as "Dr P". Matthew with his Friends costars David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow (Image: Everett/REX/Shutterstock)Kenneth Iwamasa, Matthew's personal assistant; another doctor, Mark Chavez; and Erik Fleming, a friend of the actor, were all separately charged with counts including conspiracy to distribute ketamine, according to an anonymous source familiar with the situation who was granted anonymity due to the ongoing investigation.
