Friends legend David Schwimmer turns on 'two faced' Hollywood pals for heinous silence
Friends icon David Schwimmer has slammed Hollywood stars refusing to speak out against antisemitism.
Schwimmer, 58, who notably portrayed Ross Geller on the beloved sitcom - took to the stage at the Anti-Defamation League's Never is Now conference in New York City on Tuesday to plead for his 'heroes' to publicly condemn racist abuse. Schwimmer said: 'Plenty of people I respect, even some of my heroes in entertainment, music and sports, have chosen to keep a low profile and sit this one out, including some whose careers have been made by leaning into their Jewish identity, and others who have won acclaim for playing Jews onscreen. On Tuesday, Disney released a music video for Waiting on a Wish, the first original song belted by the controversial 23-year-old in Marc Webb's $269M-budget 'PC' live-action remake of the Brothers Grimm fairytale featuring a slew of CGI dwarves.
