Fresh agony for Jay Slater's family amid devastating autopsy report

The family of Jay Slater have been hit with a fresh blow, as a spokesperson for the family slams 'hurtful' internet sleuths who have tried to access the teen's autopsy report

Debbie Duncan, Jay's grieving mother, is not only dealing with the loss of her 'beautiful boy' but also the intrusion of online sleuths trying to pry into the teen's autopsy report before his body has even been returned home, it has emerged. In a conversation with the BBC, Matthew Searle, CEO of LBT Global and representative for the Slater family, expressed frustration at how 'armchair detectives' and self-proclaimed experts have been exploiting Jay's case for their own gain, with some going as far as seeking access to confidential details of the young man's autopsy. Matthew disclosed his intention to discuss this distressing trend with Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, stating: "If someone is missing, what parents will do is sit there and try to find every bit of information online, and there's been all this stuff that's been so hurtful for them," reports the Mirror.
