French Sports Minister Cryptically Confirms Céline Dion Presence At Olympics Opening Ceremony

French Sports Minister Oudéa-Castéra said the singer’s presence in the French capital is “not by chance”.

Acting French Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra has added fuel to growing speculation that Céline Dion is poised to make a comeback performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. France is set to make history on Friday with its four-hour show unfolding on the River Seine and the foot of the Eiffel Tower rather than in a stadium, with more than 3,000 dancers and 6,000 athletes participating in the event. She also refused to be drawn on suggestions that Lady Gaga is set to perform, following sightings of the star standing beside a grand piano in a platform on the River Seine on Monday.
