French actress Frederique Bel defies the Cannes Film Festival 'nudity crackdown' as she steps out in risqué gold sequinned gown
The French actress and model, 50, wasn't afraid to flash some skin in the racy ensemble, which featured a series of different cut-outs.
The actress added a pop of colour with green earrings and opted for a sultry palette of makeup for the opening ceremony, which was also a screening of Partir Un Jour (Leave One Day). It's understood that the iconic venue now adopts a more conservative dress code, with suits, dinner jackets and floor-length evening gowns generally favoured over headline grabbing ensembles. Kristen Stewart (The Chronology of Water), Scarlett Johansson (Eleanor the Great) and Harris Dickinson (Urchin) will all be unveiling their feature directorial debuts in Cannes´ Un Certain Regard sidebar section.
