Fremantle’s Original Prods. Hires Alison Damman as Head of Development; Jeff Bumgarner Gets New Oversight


Former Good Caper Content exec Alison Dammann has joined Fremantle's Original Productions as head of development.

“Bringing Alison into the company in this new role is an exciting step forward, ensuring that we keep pushing boundaries and taking advantage of all of the unique opportunities to reach our audience in fresh, meaningful ways.” At Good Caper Content, owned by ITV America, Dammann worked on true crime and investigative projects including Emmy-nominated limited series “Escaping Twin Flames” and “Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey,” both for Netflix; ID’s “Let Us Prey: A Ministry of Scandals”; A&E’s Emmy-nominated “Exposing Parchman” and Oxygen’s “New York Homicide,” “Sins of the South” and “Final Moments.” She has also worked at Vox Media Studios, Mashable Studios and 44 Blue Productions. Original Prods.’ output includes long-running hits “Deadliest Catch” and “Bering Sea Gold” as well as the recent critically acclaimed documentary “Rather,” about the work and life of Dan Rather, and the Netflix docuseries “Waco: American Apocalypse.” The producer was also behind Max’s “Chasing Flavor” and USA’s “Race to Survive.” And the company is behind the FAST channel RIG TV, which includes episodes of “Monster Garage,” “Jay Leno’s Garage,” “Black Gold,” “Swords: Life on the Line,” “Monster House” and “Wild Justice.”
