Freddie Prinze Jr. On Returning For ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Reboot: “Both Sides Are Trying To Make It Work”
Freddie Prinze Jr. is open to reprising his I Know What You Did Last Summer role and is working on making it happen.
The reboot, which will continue the 1997 slasher film, is set to be directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and is expected to open on July 18, 2025. Sources recently told Deadline that Sony Pictures is in talks with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Prinze Jr. to reprise their roles. The new reboot has cast Camila Mendes, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King in the leading roles.
