Freddie Prinze Jr. Joins ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Sequel

Freddie Prinze Jr. will appear in the sequel to "I Know What You Did Last Summer."

Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of “ I Know What You Did Last Summer,” a sequel to the 1997 horror film in which he starred opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe. For now, Prinze will star alongside Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Haur-King. It’s unclear where the upcoming sequel will pick up, but the original “I Know What You Did Last Summer” follows four teens from a small seaside town who were stalked by a hook-wielding killer one year after covering up a car accident that was believed to be fatal.
