Francisco San Martin, ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘Jane the Virgin’ Actor, Dies at 39
Francisco San Martin, an actor known for starring in the soap opera "Days of Our Lives," died last Thursday of suicide. He was 39.
San Martin died by suicide, confirmed by the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office in their report, with the cause of death ruled as “ligature hanging.” San Martin played Dario Hernandez on the long-running soap opera “Days of Our Lives” from 2010-2011, starring in a total of 59 episodes. San Martin got his start acting in children’s theater productions in Montana, the state he was raised in, before returning to Spain as a teenager where he worked as model.
