Frameline Announces 2025 Completion Fund Recipients, Celebrating LGBTQ+ Stories (EXCLUSIVE)

Sam Feder(“ Heightened Scrutiny ”), Kani Lapuerta (“Ninxs”) and Daniel Nolasco (“ Only Good Things ”) are among Frameline ’s recipients for its 2025 Completion Fund grants, Variety can exclusively reveal. Additional recipients include four shorts: LaTajh Simmons-Weaver’s “Budget Paradise,” Chheangkea’s “Grandmai Nai Who Played Favorites,” Nana Duffuor’s “Rainbow Girls” and Brydie O’Connor’s “The Roaming Center for Magnetic Alternatives.” Since 1991, Frameline’s funds have supported projects like Feder’s “Disclosure,” Dee Rees’ “Pariah,” Rose Troche’s “Go Fish,” Cheryl Dunye’s “The Watermelon Woman,” Alessandra Lacorazza’s “In the Summers” and Paris Poirier’s “Last Call at Maud’s,” among others.
