Fox is developing a comedy series centered on a washed up golf prodigy, Variety has learned exclusively. The official logline for the series states, “A famous former golf prodigy, who vanished into anonymity after a very public meltdown, is dragged into the limelight a decade later, forcing his dysfunctional family to futilely scramble to save their opulent lifestyle and fragile egos.” Hudson’s acting credits include “The Cleaning Lady” at Fox as well as shows like “Rules of Engagement,” “Splitting Up Together,” “Nashville,” and “Scream Queens.”
