Former WME Independent agent Nelson Mok is launching a new investment and sales company named Mokster Films, which will focus on projects from Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Mok also handled this year’s highest-grossing film so far in Thailand, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, which is slated for theatrical release across Asia, including China, Australia and New Zealand. Mok said: “Our passion is to present the rich diversity and creativity of Asian cinema to a global audience, fostering collaborations that fuel innovative storytelling and distinct filmmaking styles.”
