Former Netflix Execs Fiona Lamptey, Bec Mortimer, Amber Taylor and Vinnie Shergill Launch New U.K. Venture Juno Studios (EXCLUSIVE)


Bec Mortimer, Fiona Lamptey, Amber Taylor and Vinnie Shergill, four former senior Netflix executives, have joined forces to launch Juno Studios

Co-founder and marketeer Mortimer, who was responsible for bringing the Juno team together, set up Netflix’s first international office in the U.K. and has held senior leadership roles across Warner Bros, Universal and Entertainment One, helping cultivating successful fandoms for the likes of “Harry Potter,” the “Twilight” franchise and “ Sex Education.” Lamptey held the role of director of U.K. features at Netflix from 2020-2023, where she oversaw development and production of BAFTA-nominated “The Wonder,” starring Florence Pugh, crime thriller “I Came By” by Babak Anvari, “The Kitchen,” a collaboration co-directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, “Scoop,” the dramatic retelling of the infamous Prince Andrew interview, and Misan Harriman’s “The After,” which secured a 2024 Oscar nomination. With an extensive network spanning the U.K., U.S. and EMEA, Vinnie has worked with a wide range of talent on both scripted and unscripted projects and was a named recipient of “Strictly Come Dancing’s” inaugural BAFTA TV award for best entertainment program in recognition of her role in shaping the show’s success.
