Former MTV VJ Matt Pinfield Gives Health Update After Coma, Recovering in Rehab Facility


Matt Pinfield is alive and recovering after suffering a major stroke in January. See what he said.

The former MTV VJ and SoCal Sound radio host is currently on his way to full recovery in a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles. Pinfield, a onetime Columbia Records VP of A&R who has had a number of radio gigs over the past 20 years — most recently co-hosting The Power Hour on AXS TV — suffered the stroke on Jan. 6. He also opened up about his eldest daughter Jessica assuming temporary conservatorship of the media personality’s medical and financial decisions.
