Former Fleetwood Mac Producer Settles Lawsuit With ‘Stereophonic’ Producers

The two sides indicated that they had resolved the dispute "in principle" and would have a finalized written settlement before the end of the month.

'Stereophonic'Julieta Cervantes Producers of the Broadway hit Stereophonic have settled a lawsuit brought by a former sound engineer and producer of Fleetwood Mac who claimed the production used material from his memoir without authorization, specifically in the play’s depiction of a Mac-like 1970s rock band recording a Rumours-like album. In a one-page joint motion filed today in United States Southern District Court of New York, the two sides indicated that they had resolved the dispute “in principle” and would have a finalized written settlement before the end of the month. Adjmi has long insisted that while the Tony-winning Stereophonic was partially inspired by Fleetwood Mac’s famous history, it is a work of fiction.
