Former Coronation Street star 'becomes latest star to sign up for new series of Strictly Come Dancing'
The actor and singer, 39, has allegedly joined the star-studded line-up for the new season, which kicks off in September, reports The Sun.
The show is set aboard a luxury cruise ship stationed in the Mediterranean, showcasing the glamour, rivalries, wealth and class divides existing within its sprawling cabins, decks and amenities. After a passenger is murdered on the ship, the vessel's new cabaret singer, ex police detective Jack Grayling, is enlisted to investigate, and soon finds a series of murky mysteries below the cruise's swish surface. The final names were reportedly actor Sunil Patel, radio presenter Jordan North, former professional footballer Jermaine Jenas and EastEnders star Shona McGarty.
