In related news, Jason Oppenheim, from the hit US reality show Selling Sunset, has called out landlords for taking advantage of those affected by the fires, which began on Tuesday just north of central LA and have destroyed over 12,000 structures, reports the Mirror. As the wildfires continue to spread, and various celebrities speak out about the situation, the death toll has risen to 16, with emergency crews racing against time to contain the flames before strong winds potentially push them towards LA's iconic landmarks.
