Former Amazon Studios Europe Head Georgia Brown Named Chief Content Officer of Podcast Platform Podimo
Podcast subscription platform Podimo has appointed Amazon Studio's former Europe boss Georgia Brown as its chief content officer.
The role will see Brown — a highly-respected TV exec — spearhead the content strategy for the company, which was founded in Denmark and now operates across multiple European and Latin American markets. Alongside focussing on its subscription platform and newly launched studios division, overseeing the production and global rollout of original IP across podcasts, video and digital formats, she’ll also lead Podimo’s expansion into English-language content. Brown was head of Amazon Studios in Europe and helped deliver Prime Video hits including “Clarkson’s Farm” and “The Rig,” plus the “LOL: Last One Laughing” and “All or Nothing” franchises.
