Former Activision Blizzard Studio Toys for Bob Teams With Xbox for First Game as Indie Developer


Former Activision studio "Toys for Bob," the maker of "Spyro," is teaming up with Xbox for its first game after striking out as an indie developer.

Former Activision Blizzard studio “ Toys for Bob,” the maker of “Spyro,” “Crash Bandicoot” and “Skylanders,” is teaming up with Xbox for its first game after striking out as an indie developer. Following Microsoft closing its $69 billion deal acquisition of Activision Blizzard last fall, Toys for Bob became an independent studio Feb. 29. On Friday, Toys for Bob, led by Paul Yan and Avery Lodato, revealed it had struck a deal with Xbox to publish Toys for Bob’s first game as an indie.
