A pair of agents – Marienor Madrilejo and Emma Clarke – who joined Gersh from A3 after the former acquired the latter in a deal in January are now leaving the Phil Gersh-founded agency. This included Jade Sherman, who is leading its digital business, and Alec Shankman overseeing alternative alongside senior agent and partner Debra Goldfarb. However, a month later, on February 9, Deadline broke the news that A3 would be closing its doors for good with COO Todd Quinn telling staff that “despite our best efforts, we find ourselves unable to continue operating in a sustainable manner”.
