Keisha and Justin will reunite in season two of Mara Brock Akil’s Judy Blume adaptation.
Even though Justin tells her “maybe they’ll be ready for each other in ten years” with a bittersweet forehead kiss, audiences won’t have to wait that long for more. Maybe Howard alumni Taraji P. Henson will cameo as a math professor, since she’s an expert at writing equations on blackboards from Hidden Figures. In her statement, Brock Akil promised, “Season 2 coming soon!” Nonspecific, but gives us hope that this won’t be a Stranger Things situation.
