ITV have officially confirmed the return date for Alison Hammond's For The Love of Dogs - and fans won't have long to wait to see her take the reins from the late Paul O'Grady

One year on since the tragic death of TV legend Paul O’Grady, his iconic show For The Love of Dogs will once again be returning to our screens, this time with This Morning and GBBO star Alison Hammond at the helm. "We can't wait to welcome back the series with Alison; there will be all the fun and warmth that our viewers have come to expect whilst continuing to showcase the wonderful and important work done by the incredible team at Battersea.” According to reports, Amanda Holden, Martin Clunes and Ricky Gervais has all been in the running to present the show, as was Paul’s close friend Julian Clary.
