Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl is hailed the 'greatest rockstar ever' after he cooks for 24 hours to feed the homeless on Super Bowl Sunday


Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, 54, set a personal record helping feed around 1,800 people over 28 hours cooking at a barbecue for Los Angeles' homeless on Super Bowl Sunday.

Speaking on the Hope the Mission YouTube channel, he said: 'We're always trying to feed more [people], so we came up with a plan that we were going to stuff 100 pork butts into both of our smokers - there was not one more inch of room.' Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl set a personal record helping feed around 1,800 people over 28 hours cooking at a barbecue for Los Angeles' homeless on Super Bowl Sunday Posting a montage from the day to Instagram, which initially suggested the total of food was 70 butts, the charity wrote: 'Thank you to Dave and his friends from his studio for hanging out with us and spreading love through a hot meal.'
