Focus Features’ ‘Last Breath’ Inhales $1M In Previews – Box Office
'Last Breath' is the only wide entry at the box office over Oscar weekend. It pulled in $1M on its way to a high single digit take.
Focus Features, on a weekend when they just might see their first Oscar Best Picture win with Conclave, has the wide release thriller Last Breath, which has clocked$1M in advance previews at 2,475 theaters. The Anthony Mackie movie ended its second week with$35.6M for a running estimated cume of$148.6M. Rivals have noticed that Focus is spending on linear for Last Breath, and commending that given its solid reviews at 79% on Rotten Tomatoes.
