Florence Pugh Reacts to ‘Nasty’ Comments About Her Weight: ‘The Internet Is a Very Mean Place’

Florence Pugh opened up about the ‘nasty’ comments she often receives online about her weight from critics and said ‘the internet is a very mean place.’

Florence again broached the subject when she was interviewed by her friend Jodie Turner-Smith during the ELLE Style Awards cover shoot. “I speak the way I do about my body because I’m not trying to hide the cellulite on my thigh or the squidge in between my arm and my boob: I would much rather lay it all out,” Florence recalled during the interview in August 2023. “When everything went down with the Valentino pink dress a year ago, my nipples were on display through a piece of fabric, and it really wound people up,” Florence explained.
