Fletcher Calls Herself (and Her Ego) Out on Single ‘Doing Better’

On Friday, Fletcher released her new single 'Doing Better' off her upcoming album 'Antidote.'

“I wrote ‘Doing Better’ as a way to explore my ego and call myself out, but also to tell the truth about what I was feeling at the time,” she said in a press release about the song that delves into the darker aspects of fame. “Over the years, I’ve looked for the antidote in so many things: women, the road, the stage, fans, spirituality and self-reflection,” Fletcher said. Antidote marks the singer’s third album after dropping Girl of My Dreams, which included “Becky’s So Hot” and “Serial Heartbreaker,” in 2022.
