Fleetwood Mac Are Getting an Official Documentary

Fleetwood Mac will get an official feature-length documentary, with Oscar-nominated filmmaker and producer Frank Marshall directing.

News of the documentary comes after the success of fictional projects such as the novel-turned-limited series Daisy Jones and the Six and the Tony-winning play Stereophonic, which draw on Fleetwood Mac’s story. Marshall is a veteran director and producer with five Oscar nominations to his name, as well as a recipient of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award. Over the past few years he’s helmed projects including The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story, Carole King & James Taylor: Just Call Out My Name, and, most recently, The Beach Boys.
