Flavor Flav Says He’s Applied to Become USA’s 2028 Olympic Torchbearer
After serving as the official hypeman for the '24 Olympic women’s water-polo team, Flavor Flav has bid to be a torchbearer for the '28 Olympics in LA.
Flav discussed his monumental summer at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday’s episode of the Politickin’ podcast hosted by California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom, former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, and agent Doug Hendrickson. When asked what part of the experience surprised him the most, the Public Enemy veteran replied that “energy wise” being there was a “dream come true.” He added, “It’s like, wow, I’m finally here, and I’m finally getting to really experience and see this in real life with my own eyes, and being in that moment.” He quipped, “I ain’t going to lie, man, the Super Bowl — it’s exciting going to the Super Bowl, but this was a little bit more exciting.”
