Flavor Flav Launches Fundraiser for Black Families Displaced by Fires

"Not enough is being done for the Black families and community in the aftermath of the California fires," the rapper wrote on Instagram.

The fundraiser’s goal is to amplify “the collective efforts to generate funds in support of Black families as they navigate displacement, loss of income, grief, essential needs in the short-term as they seek to rebuild.” “The Black community in Altadena shares a rich, historic, and resilient legacy, one spanning multiple generations,” the GoFundMe’s description read. Flavor Flav is among several celebrities helping to provide support to L.A. residents impacted by the wildfires, which initially broke out on Jan. 7 and destroyed thousands of buildings and homes.
