Flavor Flav showed off a new watch around his neck while in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) doesn't award Olympians prize money for earning medals, but there are ways some of the top winning athletes are being compensated. But in most cases, the typical athletes struggle to pay their living and training expenses, such as U.S. team member, who competes as a track and field discus thrower, resorted to making her financial plight public with a post on social media on Thursday. Flav, who has become known as a hype man for U.S. women's water polo, sponsored the team after finding out that Steffens and other Olympians have had to work multiple jobs to support their athletic careers, according to NBC News.
